You had me at brisket…
There’s a style of photography, or more accurately, subreddit for photos, that accidentally resemble Renaissance style art. This @Instagram post gives some examples of these photos.
Going through photos from Risk it for the brisket last night, this photo of stood out. Not for the activity; rather for the composition.
The tyre flip, the side-eye, the cheeky grin and the guy in the background watching from afar. Is it as good as the examples at the Accidental Renaissance photos at the link? Far from it. But I bet they didn’t flip tyres in the 14th Century.
A few snaps in between lifting weights and Strongman activities at The Cube Gym. 45 men got after it over the course of an hour. The chalk and sweat washed away with 3x 12-hour smoked briskets and a beer.
