How the photo was taken:

On a warm winters day in 2024, my partner Emily and I did the Manly to Shelly Beach walk. Having a photography exhibition coming up in a few months time, I was overwhelmed with taking photos, so decided to leave my camera at home. When we walked past Fairy Bower Pool, I immediately regretted that decision!

We finished our walk, I drove Emily back home, grabbed my camera and returned to Cabbage Tree Bay. In hindsight, coming back rather than taking my camera was the right decision. It allowed me time to sit, people watch and frame each photo.
