About a week ago I put a question up on my Instagram story: Can anyone recommend a good pen? I should have asked Peter McKinnon.
People put value on different things. Handwriting is something I value; Moleskine note books with grid lines, shining your shoes, clean finger nails, smelling good, closing drawers, ironing your shirt and a good writing pen. I have my mum to thank (blame) for most of these. Oh, and removing lens dust, reflections and smudges on fridges when submitting a photo package for a client.
So when Peter put this video out, I didn’t feel like the only person who puts value in these things:
There’s always time to learn new things; like calligraphy or photography. I did a little bit of both today. I also revamped my home page today.
FYI - I bought a LAMY Fountain Safari Pen. I’m not stoked about it. The search continues, but that’s why Peter’s video was perfect timing for me.
